EHS Jazz Festival

Before heading off to break, the halls of Ellsworth High School were filled all day long on Thursday with the sounds of jazz and choir groups from around the region. We were honored to host the District VI Music Festival, welcoming talented student-musicians from several surrounding middle and high schools for a full day of competitive performances and musical collaboration.

It was a banner day for our home teams. We are thrilled to announce that every single group from both Ellsworth Middle School and Ellsworth High School qualified for the State transition! A special shout-out goes to the EHS Jazz Ensemble, whose stellar performance earned them a Gold rating. From the soulful solos to the tight rhythm sections, the hard work our students put in before the break truly shined on stage.

Whether it was the EMS choir finding their harmony or our high school instrumentalists commanding the auditorium, the talent on display was a testament to the thriving arts community here in Ellsworth.
