OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE ON HCTC FACILITY FEASIBILITY STUDY STEERING COMMITTEE
The City of Ellsworth, in conjunction with the Ellsworth School Department, is seeking an Ellsworth citizen to participate on the Hancock County Technical Center (HCTC) Facility Feasibility Steering Committee. The purpose of the study is to guide the development of a facilities plan, assess the workforce development needs of the City of Ellsworth and Hancock County Region, to support current and projected programming at the School Department’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center, and determine the adequacy of current facilities to meet those needs.
Any Ellsworth resident interested in serving on this committee should provide an expression of interest by Friday, September 6, 2019, to:

Bids should be placed in a sealed envelope and marked “Ellsworth School Dept”. and submitted by: July 22, 2019
The Ellsworth School Dept. reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and encourages local contractors to bid.
All labor, equipment, and materials must be supplied by the bidder and must be included in the project cost.
Each bidder must provide proof of liability and workers compensation insurance and must submit 2 references from similar jobs.
All work will be closely inspected before payment is made.

We remind you that the 2019-20 ESD budget has been approved unanimously by the Ellsworth School Board on May 14, 2019 and unanimously by the City Council on May 20, 2018. We would like to remind you that the final step in the budget approval process, the Budget Validation Referendum, is scheduled for today, Tuesday June 11, 2019. Polls are open until 8:00 p.m. We encourage all of you to exercise your civic right and responsibility and vote.
