We are proud to announce our HCTC Students of the Month for October 2025! Each month, we are extremely proud to recognize some of our students who go above and beyond in everything they do while in our building. This month, we are excited to show off eight HCTC students who make an impact on their classmates and teachers each and every day!

Hunter Winslow - Automotive Technology
As a first year Automotive student, Hunter is positioning himself as a leader. His work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to take the classroom lessons into the lab are only a few of the ways he shows us that he truly wants to be here! It is a pleasure to have Hunter in class, and we expect continued excellence in the future.

Whitney Jordan - Health Occupations
Whitney is a first year senior in a second year class in Medical Terminology. She has been both a pleasure to have in the classroom along with being an asset to the class. Whitney is knowledgeable and hard-working. She plans to attend college to become a radiographer.

Ava Richardson - Criminal Justice
Ava is a pleasure to have in class; she is always upbeat and fully engaged. She is one of the first to volunteer for community service. Even with her busy schedule, she finds time to give back. Ava is a leader in the Criminal Justice Program, frequently helping others in and out of the classroom. She is well mannered and has high ethical standards. These are all traits that will take her far in life and in the criminal justice field.

Brooklyn Moore - Culinary Arts
Brooklyn is a first year Culinary Arts Student who is showing a high degree of diligence, responsibility and teamwork. She's quick to volunteer and completes her work in a very timely manner. She listens to directions and stays focused on the task at hand. Brooklyn is doing a great job and we are happy to have her as part of our class.

Kyle Cunningham - Multimedia Design
Kyle has demonstrated great enthusiasm for learning all aspects of media. He takes a creative approach to his project work and doesn't hesitate to ask questions. He works great as a team when filming projects but is also comfortable when working alone on graphics or photography projects. He is also very kind and considerate to others and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Carson Morang - Welding Technology
Carson was chosen because he is a very big help in the shop with his leadership skills, demonstrating those while helping other students. He is also the first one to have his PPE on and ready to go to work first thing before class even starts. He is a very good student to have in class.
