It was an AWESOME showing for the Falcon's boys and girls cross country runners at the Large School Championship meet at Central Middle School on Wednesday evening!
The boys team took home FIRST PLACE in the meet- bringing back an awesome trophy for us! And the girls weren't far behind at all, taking home SECOND PLACE and adding to the hardware collection as well!
Four of our runners, two from each squad, finished in the top 10 among over 100 participants in each race. For the boys, Lincoln Kent (5th) and Benny Smith (10th) placed in the top ten out of 116 runners. Ashlyn Atherton (6th) and Rory Hart (9th) finished top ten out of 112 runners!
The following eleven boys earned ribbons for placing in the to 60 out of 116 finishers: Cameron Mitchell 11th, Jasper Kent 18th, Alfred Faber 19th, Kaiden Ogden 22nd, Rush Newman 23rd, Greyson Goldstein 43rd, Elliott Winn 46th, Ian Moore 48th, Jasiah McNeill 49th, Aiden Geel 58th, and Blake Wood in 59th. The following ten girls earned ribbons for placing in the top 60 out of 112 finishers: Elli Bouchard 16th, Danica Gaspar 20th, Alexis Britt 22nd, Sofie Marichal 39th, Jaylee James 41st, Sylvie Smith 49th, Emily Guo 52nd, Brenna Walsh 57th Jojo Marichal 58th, and Hazel Rudolph in 59th. Congratulations to everyone- and good luck at the last meet of the season at Ellsworth High next week!!
