It’s also been a busy summer for our Adult Education students and educators!
This year, the Ellsworth Adult and Community Education nominated six students to the National Adult Education Honors Society.
In late July the Ellsworth Rotary Club honored our nominees with a dinner celebrating their induction into the Honors Society and their overall educational successes. Pictured below is our Adult Education Director, Annie Sargent; student and NAEHS inductee Phelecia Allen-Muzima; former Rotary Club President Jo Cooper; and educator Emily Nash.
Also, a big congratulations goes out to Mike DeWitt, Matt Grever, Rhiannon Hubbs, and Caydon Lamboy-Cruz- who earned his CNA certificate this year! They were among Ellsworth’s nominees into the National Adult Education Honors Society, as well.
As is often the case with Adult Education, each of them have incredible stories and journeys that have brought them here- thank you for making a difference for us, and we know you’ll continue to do so everywhere else!
