LAW ENFORCEMENT I
This course provides students the opportunity to become professionally involved in career opportunities in the law enforcement field. Students will demonstrate attributes of courage, honesty, dedication, and service. They will assist law enforcement and community organizations with the LEP training expertise learned. Cadets will be exposed to the criminal justice field by exploring the following: communications; technical report writing; stress management; judicial systems; criminal, juvenile, and tort law; ethics; public relations; accident investigation; traffic laws and functions; liquor laws; radar operation; and other topics of investigation. In addition, students will have physical fitness requirements they will complete including cardio work and weight lifting.
Schedule: This course meets Monday-Friday from 8:15-10:30 am.
