2023 Scholarship Opportunities
Rotary Scholarship All HCTC seniors planning to pursue post secondary education are eligible to apply. Please note that this scholarship is in addition to any other rotary scholarships available at your high school and is only open to students that attend HCTC. Due by March 17. Applications should be turned in to Mrs. High.
Maine Blue Collar Scholarship This scholarship is intended to encourage motivated individuals to pursue a career in the trades with scholarships ranging between $500 and $2500 that can be used towards purchasing tools, equipment, books or tuition. To apply please go to the website and look for the scholarship application button. Applications are due on April 15th.
Worthington Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships annually to graduates of partner high schools who plan to enroll full-time at a partnering college or university. (High Schools and Colleges who are partners can be found on the Worthington Scholarship Foundation Website) Scholarships based on both merit and financial need. Scholarships are renewable for up to eight semesters of post-secondary education, and can be applied to full-time programs offered in community colleges and four-year institutions. Scholarship application is due on April 15th.
Jordan René Merchant Memorial Scholarship This application must be postmarked by April 30th and should be returned to the address listed on the application.
Bar Harbor Banking and Trust Scholarship Open to students who meet the income requirement listed on page 2 of the application. Due May 1, 2023. Applications should be mailed to the address listed on the application.
Franklin Savings Bank Open to all students. Due May 3, 2023. Applications should be turned in to Mrs. High.
