Ellsworth School Department

Ellsworth School Department will generate phone and texts to communicate with parents.

In order to accurately communicate information to parents, the Ellsworth School Department is utilizing a feature of Infinite Campus to generate voice calls or text messages for student attendance, tardiness, school closures, and other emergencies.

A Census Verification Report will be sent home with K-8 students and mailed with progress reports for high school students; please update any inaccurate information directly on the form and return it to the school office.

Infinite Campus will dial the phone number listed under Primary Household Information. If you would prefer to be contacted at a different number or via text, please make a note directly on the Census Verification Report. If the information provided is accurate, no further action is necessary.

• All attendance calls or texts will begin at 10:00 am. If you have contacted the office and excused your child’s absence before 9:45 am, you should not receive a call.
• At Ellsworth High School and Hancock County Technical Center calls or texts will be sent for student tardiness.
• If school is cancelled or has a delayed start voice calls and texts will be sent no earlier than 6:00 am.
• If school closes early then we will trigger a call as soon as possible but students at EEMS will follow the information that was provided on the “Emergency Closing Plan” form.

We will be performing a test call on January 6, 2015 at 10:00 am
